LSO | The Music of Peter Boyer
Original release, 2001

On January 2 & 3, 2001, Peter Boyer conducted the London Symphony Orchestra in recording sessions at historic EMI-Abbey Road Studios. These sessions were for his debut recording on Koch International Classics, released in the United States in June 2001, and internationally in October 2001. The recording includes six of Boyer’s works: Celebration Overture, Titanic, Three Olympians, The Phoenix, Ghosts of Troy, and New Beginnings. The sessions were produced by Grammy-winning Michael Fine, former Vice President for Artists and Repertoire at Deutsche Grammophon, and founder of Koch International Classics.

Since its release in 2001, The Music of Peter Boyer has received extensive airplay on classical radio stations throughout the United States, and in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Australia.

The Koch recording went out of print in 2005. In 2007, the recording was remastered for superior sonic quality, and re-released by Propulsive Music.
